#ABT is pleased to announce several important developments in the planning for the 2004 Quintrex National BREAM Grand Final. - • The dates for the event will move back a week. The event will now run from the 28th (practice day) to the 31st of October (Boater Shootout Day), 2004.
• The venue will be Forster, NSW. Most breamers agree that Forster was a fantastic MegaBREAM venue and the town is happy to support the first BREAM GF in the area.
• The format will be Shared Weight for the first two days. This means that Pros (boaters) and Amateurs (non-boaters) are randomly paired together for each of the first two days. Together, they'll achieve the best bag of five bream they can catch. Both anglers take the bag weight out of the day. After the second day, the Amateur boat (Quintrex) and motor (Evinrude E-Tec) is awarded and the top five pros then fish alone for the Sunday Shootout. The winner takes home the Quintrex 475/Mercury 75hp/Special Trailer/MotorGuide package.
Invitations will be issued to qualifying anglers in due course, but please note especially the new date. This is now firm and will not be changed, so interstate anglers can start assessing travel options.
